I was in downtown Allentown to photograph a different locale, but decided to grab a few shots of the Americus Hotel while I was passing by. I liked the way the stylish lamp posts framed the hotel in this composition. The moody storm clouds overhead provide a nice contrast against the orange brick of the hotel as well. I used to deliver newspapers here when I was a kid and for some reason this hotel always creeped me out, hence the moody tones and light I used in this photo.
