Nearby the PPL Electric Utilities site in South Whitehall Township stands a tall blue tower (The Blue Ball). The unusual shape and height of the structure make it a well known landmark in the area. This image was shot during a sunset. The sun still touching the top of the tower, while the landscape begins to cast shadows over the lower portion. I decided to go with a sepia monotone on this photo to highlight the structures details and the way the light falls on it's curved surfaces.
I have no idea what purpose this structure serves, but I'll update this description if I ever figure it out.
